What is response time?

First Response Time (FRT) is the time between a customer request and the first answer. It is the metric that most directly affects immediate satisfaction.

The formula: Average FRT = Total response time / Number of tickets

A customer waiting 30 minutes for a simple answer already has a bad impression, even if the answer is perfect. Lost speed is never recovered.
